*****Beautiful Puppies! My boyfriend and I got our puppy, Elvis, from Kenny Acres Bassets- he is more than we could have asked for! We get so many compliments on how beautiful he is, Kenny Acres truely breeds the best looking Basset Hounds I have ever seen! The Kenny's were a joy to work with, they made buying our first puppy such an easy & wonderful experience. We would buy another puppy from them in a heartbeat if we had enough room in our house! All the puppies were adorable and we haven't had a single problem with ours, he's playful, beautiful & loves people :) Reviewer: Sarah, February 27, 2008 |

*****KENNY ACRES GETS A 6 OUT OF 5 STAR RATING FROM ME. We bought a Red and White Basset from Kenny Acres. We had been searching online for days. We were getting blue in the face talking to people trying to sell puppies from a mill or other non stop breeding service we came across a puppie that we thought was great and called Jenn. We got our Princess Montana yesterday at Bangor Airport and she was wonderful. We have been spoiling her every minute since she arrived. Princess Montana has fit right in with our lifestyle and family of two kids and another Basset We will be back next year to buy another from Jenn. THE BOTTOM LINE IS IF YOU WANT TRUTH AND HONESTY GIVE JENN A CALL AT KENNY ACRES SHE WILL GET THE RIGHT PUPPY FOR YOU. JENN IS OBVIOUSLLY WORKIN VERY HARD AT MAKING THE BASSET A GREAT BREED. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING JENN THE CHADBOURNES Reviewer: Travis, February 26, 2008 |
*****We Love our new dog I was looking for a new dog for my little girl, who is 2 1/2. I wanted something laid back, but playful and good with children. I thought a Basset was the perfect fit. During my search I ran into kennyacres and they had great pictures and plenty of information on thier site. They were extremely flexible with out of state delivery options and were amazingly prepared when I came to pick up my new puppy, including medical history, all papers, micro-chip information and even some common facts about basset hounds. I couldn't be happier with our new puppy Diego, and especially that I went through kennyacres. Reviewer: Rob, February 26, 2008 |
*****Above and beyond I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kennyacres Bassets and Jenn. I got my beautiful girl Fern a tri-color out of Lucky and Stubby, and couldn't be happier with her. She has readily acclimated not only to her new family-a two year old boy and an older husky mix without hesitation. She plays well with both of them, and has not been timid about settling right in. More than that, I have to praise Jenn for working so hard to help me make Fern a part of our family. I live in Juneau, Alaska, and Jenn researched where she would have to get the puppy to in order to ship her directly to me. This involved driving across states to Colorado in order to make this happen. I can't thank Jenn enough for helping us to make her a part of our family! If I ever decide to get another Bassett, I would definitely go to Jenn and Kennyacres. Reviewer: Jennifer, March 3, 2008 |
*****Kennyacres is the Best I purchased a rescue Basset Hound from Jen Kenny. She is honest & caring for her animals. I traveled from Las Vegas,NV to NE to get Willie.Jen's honesty made me feel Willie was meant for us.When I was stranded in NE airport, picking up Willie, the airline refused to allow us to fly on our prearranged flight back to NV due to weather. Jen's entire family never left me, until I was driving away from NE in my rental vehicle heading home to Las Vegas. Jen called me later to make sure I was OK on our journey home. This was the best experience I have ever had as Willie and I bonded over the next 2 days of traveling. Willie was exactly as Jen had discribed him, he has become wonderful addition to our family. We highly recommend Kennyacres to anyone wanting to purchase a puppy/dog or a rescue animal. People ask me "you traveled from Las Vegas NV to NE to get Willie" and I tell them I would do it again if we ever decide to add another dog to our family. *****Ginger: I was visiting Nebraska in Feb 2008 and went with my mom to the vet in Central City for one of her dogs. I asked the vet if he knew of anyone in the area selling bassett hounds. I have a reg. male and was looking for a female. He recommended Jen with the highest praise and he is the one that takes care of all of her pups. I bought a beautiful tri color female and she is the sweetest thing. Very loving and intelligent. she has been very easy to train and is very healthy. I would tell anyone about these pups. It was good to see a clean area for the pups and you can just look and tell they are healthy. Lorie Baldwin Reviewer: Lorie, March 8, 2008 |
*****Panchita About a month ago we adopted our beautiful Bassett Hound. We had the best experience with Jen at Kennyacres. At first, we weren't sure how it was going to work out because we are in California and she is in Nebraska. From the very first time I began communicating with her, I felt that she was a good and honest person. She made sure she told us everything about our doggie. She did her best to ship her to us. As soon as she had put her on the plane she contacted us to tell us she was on her way. We know Jen is a wonderful person because of how she takes care of her dogs. They are healthy and clean. We love our dog and we recommend Jen to anyone who is interested in buying or adopting a doggie. We wish there were more people in this world like Jen, who loves animals, takes them into her home and just showers them with all the love they need. Jen - YOU ARE AWESOME. We wish you and your family much success and THANK YOU from all of us in California! Best Regards, Vicky Reviewer: Vicky, July 14, 2008 |

*****Kenny Acres I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a Basset Hound puppy from Kenny Acres Bassets. I say "pleasure" because the purchase could not have been easier, Jen took the time to explain all cost up front and didn't forget any details. My puppy is absolutely perfect. Everyone we meet wants to know where I got him from and I don't hestitate to tell them from Kenny Acres in Nebraska. I absolutely recommend Kenny Acres if you are looking for a new addition to you home. Reviewer: Julie, September 29, 2008 |
*****Excellent Basset Puppies Kenny Acres breeds excellent basset puppies. My puppy Daisy was born on June 6. When I was looking for I puppy, I did a lot of on-line research and Kenny Acres was highly reviewed. Jen possesses a great deal of knowledge about the breed and it is evdient when you go to see the puppies that she truly has a passion for the dogs and the breed. Furthermore, of all the breeders I have spoken to, Jen is honest and cares a great deal about her work with these animals. Reviewer: Jennifer, September 29, 2008 |
*****Kennyacres has the best Basset Hound puppies! We picked up our beautiful puppy at the airport exactly when she was supposed to arrive. Everything that we were told we were getting for her including a care package with food, toys, even nail clippers came for her. The Vet loved her, told us she was very healthy and beautiful. My parents wanted to keep her, and we just couldn't live with out our little girl. She was 11 pounds when we brought her home 4 weeks ago now she is 20. We couldn't be happier. In fact, when we get approval for the house I am trying to buy I plan to buy me one from Kennyacres, because my daughter has put a 100% claim on her. Thank you. *****we are so in love with this little girl!! this has been such an excellent decision to add this puppy to our lives.we already had a basset pup from another breeder and the differences in jen and the other breeder are huge! they wouldn't even get back to me. jen actually worked with me for a week to stop my 14 week old pup to stop biting my 2 and 4 year olds. she didn't even hesitate to help me and everything that she taught me was totally not abusive. but it worked in about 4 days, we were amazed! he is wonderful and so is his new sister, lily. i cannot thank her enough for her help and for lily who is so wonderful with my girls, they love her! thank you, jen. the peabody's in maine Reviewer: juliie, October 5, 2008 |

In March of 2009 Lafiette joined the Dyers. He is out of Val and Stubby and is a red/white pup. Thanks Deb and family for giving these beautiful pups such a wonderful home |
*****We purchased a basset hound puppy from Kenny Acres in August, 2008. Oakley is from Stubby and Pearl's first litter born that July. We had been in contact with Jen for months before we were finally ready to buy a puppy, and she was incredibly helpful answering our questions about the breed and having a new puppy. Once we decided on a puppy from that litter, Jen sent pictures and kept us updated. Our little guy is healthy, sweet, and a joy to have in our family. He is great with other dogs and people and does amazingly well in the car! I would recommend Kenny Acres to anyone wanting a great dog who had a wonderful start before being adopted! - The Andersens in Colorado |

This puppy belongs to the Krementsova family in VT. His name is Bently and he is out of Pearl and Stubby and was born 01/23/09. Following is a note from his owners. |
Hi Jen, I just wanted to give you an update on my pup (puppy #6 from Pearl and Stubby's most recent litter). First, I know that I had told you that we named him Toby, but we ended up changing his name permanently to Bentley. Bentley has been a pure joy in our lives. We have now had him for over a month, and he is the best dog we could have ever hoped for!! His temperament is great. Even though he is playful, he is still quite lazy. After a 20 minute walk, he is usually pooped, and will pass out on his dog bed for hours!! I remember you telling me that he was the most ornery of the litter. I can't imagine what the other puppies were like-did they move(lol)?! Everyone thinks it's a riot when they see Bentley eating. He will literally sit when he eats, if that gives you an idea of how lazy he is!! He's got such a great personality, and everyone who meets him instantly falls in love with his great demeanor. Both my boys consider him their "best friend," and take him out in the back yard on a daily basis to play with them. They never get tired of Bentley, and he never gets tired of the boys, so it works out great! I will be sending you more photos of Bentley as he grows. I have some great pics that I need to download of him with my boys. I hope all is well with you and your family, and I hope to keep in touch!! Thanks, Carrie |
