The following contract is between Jerry and Jen Kenny of Kennyacres, hereafter referred to as
"breeder" and ________________________________________________________ hereafter
referred to as "buyer" for the sale and purchase of one purebred puppy of the Basset
Hound/Pomeranian/Miniature Schnauzer breed.
The following described puppy will become property of buyer upon fulfillment of the conditions
outlined in the contract.

A. PURCHASE PRICE
Purchase price of $______________ paid by the buyer to the breeder. A non-refundable
deposit of $__________ has been made on (date)____________________ and the puppy will
be held until (date)______________________. The puppy must be paid for in full by
_____________________ either through payments agreed upon by the breeder and buyer or in
one total sum minus the deposit. If full purchase price is not met by ___________________,
the buyer forfeits the deposit and the puppy will no longer be on hold for the buyer. **Note**
All payments must be made with cash, M.O. or PayPal, no personal checks please.

B. TRANSPORTATION COSTS
All transportation costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. Transportation costs may include
shipping container, airport delivery charge, freight charges, mileage, etc. Any expenses involved
in the shipping of the puppy must be prepaid before the puppy is shipped. The total shipping
charges are outlined as follows:

The breeder agrees to:
1. Provide the vaccine and de-worming records to the buyer at the time of purchase.
2. Have the puppy microchipped prior to the sale of the puppy and provide the Microchipping
Company information for the buyer at the time of purchase.
3. Reimburse the buyer $30 for a male puppy or $40 for a female puppy if the puppy is altered
on or before the age of 7 months (date)__________________. Reimbursement will be paid via
money order made out to the buyer and will be mailed within 30 days of receiving documentation
of surgery. Acceptable documentation must have the clinic or vet's name, address and phone #
as well as the date of the surgery.
4. Provide the AKC and/or APRI new puppy registration information to the buyer at time of
purchase.
5. Replace or reimburse full purchase price (minus shipping) if the puppy is found to have a
genetic defect or disease when taken to a licensed veterinarian within 7 days (date)
______________ of the pick up of the puppy. Breeder will replace any dog found to have a
genetic defect for the life of the puppy. See buyer #5 for more details.
6. Provide a puppy that is in excellent health and that is free from parasites at the time of
purchase. Breeder does not make any further guarantees as to the puppy's condition after
pickup.

The buyer agrees to:
1. Prevent illness and injury by providing necessary booster vaccines, veterinary care, proper
nutrition, fresh water, adequate shelter and supervision for as long as the puppy is in the
buyer's care.
2. Look over AVID microchipping information provided by the breeder.
3. Provide the breeder with documentation from a licensed veterinarian proving that the puppy
was spayed or neutered prior to it being 7 months old (date)___________ in order to receive
the above mentioned reimbursement for alteration of the puppy - $30 for a male, $40 for a
female. ***Documentation has to be received by the breeder no more than 30 days after the
surgery is performed and the alteration must be performed on or before the above stated date
in order for the buyer to receive reimbursement***
4. Look over the AKC and/or APRI registration information provided by the breeder.
5. Take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian of the buyer's choice, at the buyer's expense,
within 7 days of the pick up of the puppy. If the puppy is not taken to a veterinarian within 7
days (date)______________ of pickup the buyer forfeits the right to have the puppy replaced
or refunded for any reason at any time during the puppys life. As long as puppy is seen by a
licensed veterinarian within the 7 day timeframe, breeder will replace the puppy with a puppy of
equal breeding and value if the original puppy is found to have a genetic or congenital defect.
The defect must be witnessed by 2 different licensed veterinarians and must be documented by
both veterinarians at the buyers expense. If documentation of said defect is provided,
documentation of puppy being seen within the 7 day window (above) is provided, and a defect is
in fact found, the replacement offer is good for the life of the original puppy. In order to get
the replacement puppy, the original puppy must be returned to the breeder, or a certificate of
death must be presented to the breeder and must be signed by a licensed veterinarian and must
document original puppy's microchip number. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs
that would apply.
6. Provide a home for the puppy for the life of the animal to the best of the buyer's ability or
to find a suitable replacement home if unable to continue to care for the animal. We ask for
first right of refusal and prefer that you contact us first if you are unable to keep your puppy
for any personal reason. We will NOT buy back the puppy. No refund will be given under any
circumstance. But we ask that you keep the well being of this puppy in mind. We put a lot of
time, effort and money into raising healthy, well adjusted family pets and want the opportunity
to continue caring for the puppy if you are unable to do so. No questions will be asked, we will
happily take your puppy back if you can no longer care for it for whatever reason.
