Ch. STUBBY |
AKC & APRI mahogany & white male D.O.B. 5/31/04 |
Introducing my APRI Champion Stubby. He is the sire to all of my Basset Hound puppies. He is DNA profiled through AKC and weighs around 60 lbs. Stubby is just an awesome dog and always gives us awesome puppies. He has a wonderful laid back, friendly, goofy personality. He absolutely loves people and will do just about anything for a laugh and a cookie. If you come out to see us, Stubby will flop at your feet and roll over on his back for you to rub his tummy. |
Cleo |
ENE'S Cleopatra Girl AKC & APRI tricolor D.O.B. 6/10/2005 |
This is sweet Cleo. She is the most laid back, calm dog I have ever been around. I would even go so far as to describe her as downright LAZY! She weighs around 50 lbs. She always has beautiful babies with Stubby. As a puppy she had a solid black saddle on her back but all the black has faded with time and now she looks like a mahogany & white. |
Pearl |
Kennyacres Black Pearl AKC & APRI black & white (rare) D.O.B. 4/20/2007 |
This is Pearl. I am so excited to have finally found my Black Pearl. For those of you who aren't so excited, black & white Bassets are very hard to find. I looked for a black & white for 3 years. It was hard to find a pup with the right temperament, from healthy parents, with correct confirmation that would produce nice puppies with Stubby. Pearl is a beautiful Basset. She has NO other colors whatsoever on her, just black & white. She wags her tail everytime she sees anyone and she is very outgoing and friendly with everyone. She has extremely long ears and sad droopy eyes. Pearl is a very happy go lucky dog and I am so excited to introduce her into my breeding program and her puppies with Stubby are absolutely gorgeous. Pearl is a big hefty girl weighing in at 60 lbs. |

Here are several pictures of Stubby and I at his first and second dog shows. He scored very well and only needs one more qualifying show to achieve his Champion status. We are very proud of our Stubby. Update - In October of 2008 Stubby went to his 3rd show and achieved his Championship. What this means to you is that your puppy is Champion sired and each puppies APRI pedigree will reflect this. |
Valentine Rose Brabec AKC tri-color D.O.B. 12/20/06 |
Introducing Val. She is a big beautiful tricolor basset. She has a wonderful calm personality and is very quiet. She is almost as lazy as Cleo if that is possible. Val is a great addition to my breeding program and I am proud to own such a wonderful dog. She has the classic basset hound look and she has produced some beautiful puppies with Stubby. |

Introducing my Champion Sire and his beautiful ladies. Each basset is AKC registered and several are also registered with other various registries as noted. All puppies will be registered with AKC and most will also be eligable for dual registered with APRI. You will find pictures and a short description of each of my bassets. |
BRIO |
Hess White River Brio AKC, APRI & AHBA tricolor with a solid saddle D.O.B. 01/05/05 |
We are retiring Brio from breeding and hope to find her a nice pet home. |
Zoie |
J&S Buck's Zoie AKC, APRI & AHBA black/tan/white D.O.B. 04/27/05 |
This beautiful girl is Zoie. She is around 45 lbs and is one of my smaller females. She is a happy go lucky girl and loves everyone although she is a little bit shy when she first meets you. She is friendly and sweet and I am very excited to add her to my breeding program. |
Lilly |
MacDaddy's Lilly Shoatcake AKC registered red/white D.O.B. 05/15/05 |
Lilly is an absolutely gorgeous red and white girl. She is about 75lbs and is everything anyone would ever want in a Basset Hound. She always has that tail wagging and just loves every person she meets, no one is a stranger. I am very excited and can't wait to get puppies from Lilly and Stubby. |

I am proud to introduce Emily. She is a beautiful lemon and white. She is very special to me because she is Stubby and Emmas grandaughter. My Emma was killed this fall and I am so excited to be able to get her grandaughter. Emily is growing up nicely. She is a very big, correct girl with an outstanding friendly personality. I can't wait to get puppies out of Horatio and Em. At 8 months old she weighs 47 lbs. |

HORATIO |
Kennyacres Horatio the Red AKC & APRI red/wht D.O.B. 05/14/2009 |
Introducing my newest boy, Horatio. When I bought his momma, SweetHeart, she was bred to a beautiful, big tricolor male. Horatio was born here at Kennyacres and I am so excited that SweetHeart gave me this gorgeous boy. He is absolutely everything I have been looking for in my second breeding male. He is big and goofy, he is friendly, happy, confident, outgoing and one of the most beautiful, correct basset babies I have ever seen. I hope to eventually show him as well. |

Sh'mello |
Kennyacres Gimme Smore Marshmello AKC & APRI tricolor D.O.B. 05/14/09 |
I am proud to introduce Marshmello, or Sh'mello for short. She is Horatio's littermate and is absolutely perfect. I was only going to keep Horatio but within a week of these babies being born I knew I could never part with this baby girl. She is perfect. I am excited to start her show career and the plan is to eventually breed her to Stubby when she is old enough. She is a big girl and is always so happy, outgoing and confident. |

LUCKY |
Kennyacres Lucky Alegra APRI registered Tri-Color D.O.B 10/19/06 |
Lucky is a nice tricolor girl weighing around 45 - 50 lbs. She has nice conformation and a very pretty head. She is somewhat timid but is very sweet and loves kids. She had her first litter in November of '07 and she had several blue puppies. Because of her timidness and the fact that she has blue pups, I debated on if I should continue to breed her. I have held off on letting her have pups for several years and now have decided that since her pups with Stubby are beautiful, healthy and all outgoing and friendly I will keep her as one of my breeding females. |
